Businesses across South West Wales are being urged to take advantage of this incredible opportunity as the Regional Learning and Skills Partnership announces a major funding initiative aimed at boosting workforce skills and supporting career transitions in the region’s fastest-growing sectors.
Thanks to funding from the Swansea Bay City Deal Skills and Talent Programme the four colleges across the region will deliver a 18 month programme of part funded training courses, available to individuals looking to upskill or get into a new career. These courses range from Level 3 to Level 5 qualifications and are designed to help employers upskill their teams, retrain individuals, and enhance overall performance.
South West Wales is experiencing growth in sectors such as renewable energy, manufacturing, construction, digital technologies, and health and social care, as these industries grow the demand for skilled workers is rising. The RLSP’s initiative aims to bridge this gap by preparing local businesses with the training needed to stay competitive.
